DNV's Global Shared Services (GSS) North America seeks a Benefits Specialist to join our regional team. As a member of the GSS community, you act in a professional, multi-cultural, competent, and service-oriented environment to support the success of the business, with great possibilities to enhance your personal competencies and expertise and to build a strong network with colleagues around the world.This position is based out of our DNV office in Katy, TX.What you'll Do

• Coordinate the full life cycle of employee benefits for DNV's North America countries, including the US, Canada, and Mexico
• Partner with third-party administrators and employees on all leave-of-absence requests and disability claims
• Produce and process monthly invoices for all employee benefits
• Partner with broker/consultant to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices
• Process employee deductions and partner with the payroll team to ensure proper deduction setup
• Other projects as assigned

Position Qualifications

What Is Required

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• At least five years of corporate benefits administration experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Thorough understanding of local, state, and federal laws involving employment, HR, and benefits administration
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn the organization's HRIS, payroll, and similar human resource management
• software and practices
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills. French speaking, writing, and reading is a plus
• We conduct pre-employment drug and background screening
